Food Donations

Feeding families is the first step forward.

Supporting our community is the reason Valley Outreach is here.

A temporary service model is currently in effect.

We are accepting food and clothing donations through a no-contact, drive-up service model on Monday/Wednesday from noon to 3 p.m. There are some restrictions. Please read this post for full details. Our building is closed to the public at this time, including our StyleXchange program.

With our drive-up service model, we are accepting donation kits this year. Here’s what we recommend: Baking Bag Kit, Household Paper Goods Pack, Cooking Essentials Kit and Personal Care Kit

We are accepting financial donations online.

Valley Outreach welcomes donations of non-perishable, unopened food items all year long and fresh garden produce during the summer and fall.

When to Donate

Please bring donations in during our drive-up donation hours – Monday and Wednesday from noon to 3 p.m. Please follow the signs and volunteer directions and drive through around the back of our building.

We cannot accept drive-up donations outside of these hours – especially during our drive-up client service hours. We’ve seen a significant increase in the use of our services, up more than 40% over last year, and we need our team and volunteers to focus on serving our clients during that time.

Host a Food & Fund Drive

Every day in Minnesota, more than 9,000 people visit a food shelf to get help meeting their daily food needs. When you host a food & fund drive for Valley Outreach you help feed hungry individuals and families.

We have resources and tools to make your drive a success. Contact info@valleyoutreachmn.org to get started.
