Are there any age
restrictions to volunteering at Valley Outreach?
We enjoy having volunteers of all ages at Valley
Outreach! For volunteers under the age of 7, they are able to volunteer in the
Snack Pack program and must be accompanied by adults (1 adult for every 2
youth). For volunteers between the ages of 7-14, we ask that they be
accompanied by a parent/guardian while volunteering. And for volunteers ages
15-17 they are able to volunteer on their own with signature from a

need to attend an orientation?
we ask that all volunteers attend a volunteer orientation. The orientations
only last an hour and they provide incoming volunteers with a chance to familiarize
themselves with Valley Outreach, our programs and volunteer opportunities as
well as the Volunteer Program Manager really loves to meet new volunteers.

should I wear?
comfortable clothes with close toed shoes (sandals are not allowed). We
ask that our volunteers not wear any clothing that uses vulgar language,
contains political statements or that is revealing.
you provide verification of service for school credit or community service
once you have completed your volunteer hours, we are happy to provide you with
a letter of confirmation.
there weekend volunteer opportunities available?
of our regular volunteer opportunities take place during weekdays.
