Volunteers support the work of Valley Outreach in many different capacities.
For some, serving on one of our board committees is another way to contribute to the organization. Being on our Board of Directors is a great way to be involved with our mission and to support the community here in the St. Croix Valley. The Governance Committee of Valley Outreach welcomes you to fill out our board application below. All applications are reviewed by the Governance Committee and a committee member will contact you to discuss next steps. Note that we do not always have openings, yet we appreciate your interest.
In particular, we are seeking prospective board members from often underrepresented communities that Valley Outreach serves. We seek individuals who identify in one or more of the following ways:
- Black , Indigenous or Person of Color
- LGBTQ+
- Living with a disability
- A person with knowledge and experience in using basic needs support programs
- A person with professional expertise in the nonprofit and/or basic need services sector
