April is National Volunteer Month—a time to recognize, honor, and celebrate the individuals who strengthen the community through service. Volunteers are the heart of Valley Outreach, and their generosity helps ensure that people in need receive support, dignity, and hope.

At Valley Outreach, we see the impact of volunteers every single day. Last year alone, more than 800 volunteers helped us serve 31,900 people with compassion and care.

The Heart of Our Mission

Volunteers are not just part of our work—they are central to it. Their contributions make it possible for us to carry out our mission of helping people move their lives forward through basic needs services and personalized support.

Whether they are stocking shelves, sorting donations, or greeting clients, they ensure that our programs run smoothly and efficiently. Every role matters, and every hour served makes a meaningful difference.

Without volunteers, much of this work simply would not be possible.
