Weather Update – Friday, Dec. 23 – Modified Food Program

    12/23 Update

    We are offering modified food programming today (Dec. 23, 2022) between 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. due to dangerous weather conditions. StyleXchange and donations are closed.

    Pre-packed boxes will be available by curbside pickup only during this time. These boxes will include a mix of pantry staples, fresh produce, some dairy and frozen protein.

    If you need food and can get her safely, please come at a time that works best between 9:30 and 11:30 a.m.

    Valley Outreach will be closed Dec. 26, 2022 through Jan. 2, 2023 to give our staff a chance to renew and recharge over the holidays. We will resume our program and donation hours at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 3.

    We are offering modified food programming today (Dec. 22, 2022) between 2 and 5 p.m. due to dangerous weather conditions. StyleXchange and drive-up donations are closed. This modification prioritizes client, volunteer, donor and staff safety during below zero weather conditions.

    Pre-packed boxes will be available by curbside pickup only during this time. These boxes will include a mix of pantry staples, fresh produce, some dairy and frozen protein.

    We are switching from appointments to a drive up at your convenience model. If you need food and can get her safely, please come at a time that works best between 2 and 5 p.m.

    Do I need to come during my appointment time? No, we are switching from an appointment model to a drive-up model today. The weather conditions are dangerous, and we are prioritizing client, volunteer, donor and staff safety. We are only offering pre-packed boxes of food today that contain a mix of pantry staples, fresh produce, some dairy and frozen protein items.

    When/how can I reschedule my appointment? Please check the online form next week to schedule an appointment in January. We are closed for the holidays between Dec. 26 and Jan. 2 so our staff and recharge before the new year.

    What are you doing tomorrow for walk-in hours? We are still assessing the situation and will make a decision tomorrow morning regarding food. StyleXchange will be closed for walk-in tomorrow.
