Hello, friends of Valley Outreach,
At Valley Outreach the well-being of our clients, volunteers, donors, staff and community is a top priority. While health and safety standards are followed daily at Valley Outreach, we’re taking extra precautions to minimize the effects of COVID-19 in our community while continuing to serve people in need of our programs.
What we are doing:
- We are working with food banks and partners to make sure we meet critical needs.
- We are closely monitoring daily recommendations from the Minnesota Department of Health and the CDC.
- We are sanitizing our public and staff spaces more frequently and providing gloves to volunteers and staff who are handling food.
- We have hand sanitizer available to everyone who comes to Valley Outreach and we encourage frequent handwashing following CDC guidelines.
At this time, we will remain open for our walk-in hours. Please stay home if you are concerned about exposure, are not feeling well or have recently traveled to areas where exposure and your risk of contracting COVID-19 is higher.
We are working on contingency plans to adapt or modify our programs, if necessary, so we can continue to serve people. Decisions on modified programming will be shared on the morning of Tuesday, March 17. We will communicate updates on our social media channels and our website.
Sincerely,
Tracy Maki, Chief Executive Officer
