This spring, Valley Outreach is completing our exterior building remodel – with new signs and doors.

Valley Outreach will be under construction from April 21 through June 13, 2025 to improve our facility. We’re adding new signage and doors to make it easier for people to find us and access programs. While we’re thrilled about these updates, they will cause some temporary changes to our services.
Here’s what you need to know:
🛍️ StyleXchange & Clothing Donations:
- Closed from April 21 to May 16.
- During this time, StyleXchange will not be open, and we cannot accept clothing donations due to limited space.
🥫 Food Programs:
- Temporary modifications from May 5 to June 13 – Food will be available throughout construction!
- To keep everyone safe during construction, we’ll have:
- Fewer in-person shopping appointments.
- Curbside food pick-up in the parking lot — just like we did during the pandemic if you came for services during that time.
📅 Scheduling:
- Appointments will be limited, so please check the schedule regularly online.
- Please don’t call — our ability to return calls will be limited during construction.
Thank you for your patience and understanding! These updates will help us better serve you in the future.

Enhancing Curb Appeal with Purpose
This project isn’t just about fresh paint. New awnings, clear signage, new lights, more accessible entrances, and modern sliding doors are all part of the plan.
These improvements will make our building more visible and accessible, in addition to much-needed maintenance. The building is critical to our mission, and we’re committed to being a good caretaker for years to come.
Special Funding Makes This Possible
We’re grateful to the Fred C. & Katherine B. Andersen Foundation for funding these improvements. This one-time grant is specifically for the renovation and is completely separate from our operating budget; meaning, we cannot use this grant to buy food or expand programming. It has a separate, designated purpose. We’re also proud to be working with Market & Johnson and HW2 Design on this project. Their generosity and partnership have been invaluable.
