Ready to help ensure more Minnesotans have a place to call home? Valley Outreach has a new position through the AmeriCorps program, Heading Home Corps.

As part of Heading Home Corps, you’ll support people experiencing housing insecurity to help access their needs, set goals, research housing options and navigate available resources.

Members serve full-time, 40 hours a week and can choose to begin their service in August, October and January. All positions serve through July 2023.

In addition to ongoing training and support, Housing Resource Navigators receive:

· A stipend of $1,100 paid every two weeks

· Individual health insurance (monthly premium 100% paid)

· Up to an additional $6,495 for tuition or student loans

· Child care assistance – Based on family size and income
