Kits and Drives Support Expanded Deliveries
As we expand our delivery program to ensure safe, dignified access to food across Washington County, we’re calling on the community to help meet immediate needs. Right now, we’re seeking donations of Kids Snack Pack Kits, Personal Hygiene Kits, and essential household items — including toilet paper, paper towels, menstrual pads, dish soap, and laundry detergent.
Hosting a household items drive or assembling kits is a simple, hands-on way for individuals, businesses, and community groups to put Kindness in Action and support individuals and families during a challenging time.

Consistency Is Important
Please follow the assembly instructions for each kit and size requirements for the items closely. This helps delivery recipients know what to expect from their delivery. It also makes it easy for us to quickly receive the donations and deliver them to people in need. Volunteers need manageable sizes to deliver the items safely. This is very important as we scale up deliveries quickly.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can notes be added to the kits? No. While this is a thoughtful gesture, we want the kits to be as consistent and as anonymous as possible. Staff and volunteers will need to remove notes if they are added.
Can other items be added to the kits? No. Consistency is important for people so they know what to expect when ordering their delivery. Staff and volunteers will need to remove items not on the list if they are added.
Where can the items for the kits be purchased? The examples show items purchased from Walmart, but you may purchase items from any retailer as long as they are the correct size and quantity.
