Late summer and early fall provide a unique opportunity for food and clothing donations at Valley Outreach.
As you harvest the produce from the garden and gear up to send the kids back to school, think of how you might support Valley Outreach this season. This time of year, Valley Outreach greatly appreciates donations of fresh garden produce for our food shelf and kids clothing for StyleXchange.
Kids Clothing Donations
The back-to-school season is an exciting time for children. However, it can also be financially challenging for families as they prepare to equip their kids with school essentials. This is where you come in! Valley Outreach is currently in need of kids’ clothing donations, especially those gently worn clothes from last year that might no longer fit your child.
By donating last year’s clothing, you’re not just decluttering your closets; you’re empowering families in need to provide their children with the proper attire for school. Imagine the smiles you’ll bring to young faces as they step into the classroom feeling comfortable and ready to learn. Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a huge difference in a child’s life.
Garden Produce Donations
As the garden season reaches its peak, we invite you to be part of the cycle of giving by donating your garden produce to Valley Outreach. If you’ve nurtured a garden this year and have an abundance of fruits, vegetables, and herbs, why not share the love with those who might not have access to such fresh, nourishing produce?
Donating garden produce is not only a sustainable way to give back, but it also allows you to directly impact the nutritional well-being of families. Remember to wash the produce before donating. From juicy tomatoes to crisp cucumbers, your garden’s gifts can become a source of health and happiness.
