Valley Outreach is excited to announce that StyleXchange will be open to the public for sales on Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. beginning April 5, 2023!
Who can shop?
All are welcome to shop StyleXchange during thrift hours paying with cash or credit – clients will receive a 25% discount on purchases on Wednesday. Clients will always have access to free clothing during our dedicated appointment hours.
Why the thrift store model?
We’ve seen about a 90% increase in the use of our programs and our food shelf use is at an all-time high. A thrift store model enables us to serve more people . People who do not participate in our client programs will have the opportunity to purchase gently-used clothing at a low price. Revenue generated by the StyleXchange will go directly into client programs.
How can I help?
We’re fortunate to receive wonderful donations that will meet the needs of all who shop our store. Valley Outreach continues to welcome donations of gently-used, seasonal, clean clothing.
We also welcome new volunteers. Volunteers run our programs, including StyleXchange. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities to fit your needs.
Please spread the word and stop by yourself for some great deals that support our neighbors in need! Feel free to connect with Hannah Sutcliffe, StyleXchange Manager, with any questions at [email protected].

I think this is fabulous!!! Years ago, I had a part time job in stillwater and I lived in st paul. My job was located right by the food shelf. I had 4 months to feed, pay day was a week away. I decided to stop in at the food shelf and ask if they could help me. I told them I know I am out of your area and my local food shelf hours did not coincide with my hours I worked. They helped me!! I was so thankful and will always think highly of your organization.
