Do you ever find yourself telling friends, family, or coworkers about why you support Valley Outreach? If the answer is “yes!” then you might be closer than you think to hosting a fundraiser that makes a real difference in people’s lives.
One of the most powerful ways you can support Valley Outreach is by hosting a community-hosted fundraiser — a fun, creative event you organize where proceeds go directly to Valley Outreach.
What is a Community-Hosted Fundraiser?
A community fundraiser is an event hosted by a business, school, group, or individual with all proceeds benefiting Valley Outreach. These events don’t have to be fancy — they can be simple, joyful gatherings built around your interests and community.
You’re the host, so your community-hosted fundraiser can look any way you want. Feel free to get creative and think outside the box!

- Provide liability insurance
- Apply for licenses/permits for your event
- Provide tax receipts for anonymous cash or in-kind donations
- Provide donor or sponsor lists
Planning Tips: Before, During & After Your Event

During the Event:
- As an engaged supporter of Valley Outreach, you are our perfect ambassador! This is your opportunity to candidly share with your guests what compels you to support our mission and programs

Why Your Community Fundraiser Matters
Valley Outreach thrives because we are powered by the community. Your fundraiser brings people together while expanding support for individuals and families in need. Every event, big or small, shows that when we pool our creativity and compassion, we can make a meaningful difference.
